Jackfruit Fritters

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup jackfruit flesh, grated

  • 1/2 cup jackfruit flour

  • 1/4 cup rice flour

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/4 cup water

  • Oil for frying

Method:

  1. In a bowl, mix together the grated jackfruit, jackfruit flour, rice flour, baking powder and salt.

  2. Gradually add water and mix to form a thick batter.

  3. Heat oil in a pan. Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown.

  4. Drain the jackfruit flour fritters on a paper towel-lined plate.

  5. Serve hot as a snack or appetizer.
